<div class="history"> Between 1928 and 1959, this (probably along with the space now occupied by [[75-77 High Street|number 75]] next door and possibly other properties) was the site of the Davis Theatre, a purpose-built cinema; see [http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/29092 Cinema Treasures entry] for more information.
