Home improvements shop on the High Street.

Between 1928 and 1959, this (probably along with the space now occupied by number 75 next door and possibly other properties) was the site of the Davis Theatre, a purpose-built cinema; see Cinema Treasures entry for more information. The Davis Theatre was demolished in late 1959, and the Davis House office block (which stands behind the current High Street shop frontages) was built in its place.

Existence last checked in December 2019.
