The premises were vacant as of July 2012 photo, and still vacant as of December 2012 and mid-2013. As of July 2013 planning permission was granted for a sign on the frontage reading "Peri-Peri Original" (PDF), suggesting that it would at some point be opening as a chicken shop. However, this never happened and it remained vacant as of November 2014. Still vacant as of April 2015, mid-May 2016, May 2017, October 2017, and March 2018.
Some time between March and June 2018 a mobile phone accessories and repair shop called Easy Mobile opened up.
