However, it was definitely open again by late February 2018, probably earlier. |

Chinese takeaway on Selsdon Road in South Croydon. It opened in mid-2014.
Note: As of November 2017, the Croydon Advertiser reports that there has been a fire at Friendly House. We don't yet know when it will reopen; there's a handwritten sign on the door saying "Closed until further notice".

Previously a Chinese takeaway called Gourmet Kitchen photo, but this closed some time between October 2013 and February 2014.
As of February 2014, Gourmet Kitchen had a sign in the window stating that it was closed until further notice. By April 2014, the sign had been removed from the frontage and the windows papered over photo.
As of May 2014 there was a new sign up reading "Friendly House - Chinese cuisine to take away". Friendly House was open by late June 2014, with a banner in the window stating that it was under new management.
