American bar and grill on the corner of Church Street and Old Palace Road. It opened in December 2012.

They do takeaway and delivery, as well as online ordering via Hungry House and via Just-Eat. As of July 2013 they're also open from 9am for breakfast (serving fryup-style food).

The building was previously occupied by a pub called the Gun photo, but this closed some time in the latter half of 2012, and by early December signs had appeared in the windows photo advertising the forthcoming opening of Big Mamma.

Accessibility: No steps to get in. Step-free to the bar, toilets, and most of the seating once you're in. Some of the seating is on a dais, up one step. All seating is in booths with fixed banquettes.
