In August 2012, the shoe shop chain Soletrader were granted planning permission for shopfront alterations at the site (see PDF of the proposed shopfront). Soletrader previously had a branch a little further along North End at numbers 129-131.
As of November 2012, the frontage looks close to completion, so it seems the new shop may be opening soon.
According to a photo on Flickr, as of c. 1985 the premises were occupied by a shop called Jeanie.
It was vacant and advertised to let between December 2011 and May 2012, at least.
