Croydon In The 2010s - Differences between Version 29 and Version 28 of West Croydon Station

Rail station on London Road in West Croydon. It has Southern services to London Bridge and Victoria (both departing from platform 3), as well as London Overground services on the East London Line (platform 1, except on Sundays when they arrive at platform 4 and depart from platform 3). In the other direction (platform 4), Southern services go to Sutton, Epsom Downs, and Epsom. Note that there is no platform 2!

Following the May 2018 service changes, there are no services to London Bridge on Sundays. In addition, almost all weekday services to London Bridge are now semi-fast and stop only at Norwood Junction; there are just a few exceptions (stopping at all stations) in the morning and evening peaks.

The photo on this page shows the main entrance on London Road, but there are also two other entrances which provide step-free access to the platforms.

For platforms 1 and 3 (towards central London), the step-free entrance is accessed via the carpark to the left of the station (past Greggs, and turn right between N Tapper Shoe Repairs and H&T Pawnbrokers).

For platform 4 (towards Sutton/Epsom), the step-free entrance is accessed via Station Road (go along to Maplin and turn left). As of July 2012, according to posters photo this entrance is open 7am-7:30pm Monday-Friday and 8:30am-6:30pm Saturdays, with a button to press for assistance at other times.
