Indian sweet shop on London Road. They also sell savoury snacks such as roasted chickpeas, and have a heated counter display with hot food to take away; examples noted in August 2012 included lamb biryani and chicken curry.

It used to be called Ambala photo, but changed its name to Alees some time between March and September 2017 due to the end of its franchise agreement with the Ambala sweet company.

There also used to be an estate agents accessed via the shop — Capitol Homes sales & lettings photo of sign in August 2012 — but we're not sure if this is still the case.

Accessibility: No step to get in. It's quite small inside, but not unnecessarily cluttered.
