2b Kidderminster Road was originally a residential property, part of a semi-detached pair. Cross-referencing historical maps with old street directories suggests that it was built around 1908.
As of December 2019 it was occupied by the Croydon & Sutton branch of the Samaritans organisation; according to Google Street View, it had been used for this purpose since at least July 2008.
