It offered repairs, alterations, and same-day cleaning (according to a sign outside, seen in July 2012).
According to a Croydon Guardian article, as of May 2019 it had been trading for 18 years. This is corroborated by a May 2020 tweet from the owners' son stating that his parents had been in business in Croydon for 42 years and on St George's walk for 20 years.
