Note: As of early October 2016, Depa Indiana is closed for what looks like quite an extensive refurbishment.

They also do takeaway and delivery, with online ordering via Hungry House. According to a takeaway menu collected in December 2011, they will deliver for free within a 3-mile radius, minimum order £12, last delivery order at 10:45pm, payment in cash only. Another menu collected in February 2013 reiterates the minimum order but makes no mention of the other restrictions.

According to a sign seen in the window in September 2012 photo, no alcohol is permitted on the premises. According to a takeaway menu (Feb 2013), they are halal.

According to the Croydon Advertiser, this was the site of the first curry house to open in Croydon, in 1958. According to historical phone books at the Croydon Local Studies Library, in 1974 it was called The Curry House. According to a photo on Flickr, it's been called Depa Indiana since at least c. 1985 (most easily visible at original size); see also a photo from February 2009.
