Small African/Asian supermarket on London Road, also doubling as a travel agency.
It was previously known as Ashra photo; the frontage changed to read "Sun Travels" in May or June 2013 photo, but nothing much changed inside the shop, and they still sell groceries and fresh vegetables as before (including 4kg bags of onions and 10kg bags of rice). In 2015 it changed again to Nilgiris, as part of the Connected Croydon shopfront improvement program, but again little seemed to change inside the shop.
Food items spotted in December 2011 included red and white onions, spinach, bell peppers, plantains, various dried beans and lentils (including gungo peas and Nigerian brown beans), various grains, Ghanaian palm oil, instant fufu mix, mixes for various Indian foods (biryani, gulab jamun), and jaggery.
