In April 2016, the Five Guys burger chain was granted prior approval ([https://publicaccess3.croydon.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=ZZZW0CJLXB165 ref 16/01251/GPDO]) to open a branch in part of the building. Progress on this appeared to be slow, but in February 2017 they were granted further approval ([http://publicaccess2.croydon.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=OGUGH0JLK5L00 ref 16/05869/FUL]) for a shopfront sign. It finally opened in late July 2017 and was still there in December 2019. |
