The premises were previously occupied by Close Up Photographie photo, which opened some time between May and September 2017 in a new building constructed to replace the part of Royal Parade that was burned down in August 2011. This closed down by July 2018.
A hairdressers and beauty salon called Favour opened some time between September 2017 and July 2018. As of July 2018 there was no sign on the frontage photo, but it acquired one by September 2018 photo.
