According to the Brasserie Vacherin website as of April 2019, the restaurant was "closed for a few weeks for refurbishment", while local group Croydon Eats Out [https://twitter.com/CroydonEO/status/1120253435541061635 reported that] people with reservations were not informed of the closure. As of May 2019, there was a pile of unopened mail inside the door and the menu had been removed from the outside, but there was no obvious sign of refurbishment work going on.
