As of early October 2013 there were signs in the window indicating a closing-down sale, and according to a member of staff the shop would indeed be closing down (and moving to Peckham) around the end of the month. As of January 2014 it remained open (though the closing-down signs were still there).

As of April 2014, Tree Lounge had closed, the interior had been stripped out photo, and there was a to-let sign in the window photo.

The premises were vacant and advertised to let photo of sign as of April 2014, and still vacant as of July 2014.
