Kanoo is located in the lower ground floor of the building, facing onto Crown Hill. In November 2014, Foxtons estate agents were granted permission to install a shopfront on the ground floor, facing the junction of George Street, the High Street, and North End.
According to a photo on Flickr, as of c. 1985 the premises (along with those of its neighbour Shoe Care) were occupied by a shop called Saxone.
