Small African/Asian supermarket on London Road.

Note: as of June 2013 the frontage has changed to read "Sun Travels" photo, but they seem to still be selling groceries and the staff seemed to think the shop might continue as a combination grocers/travel agent.

Food items spotted in December 2011 included red and white onions, spinach, bell peppers, plantains, various dried beans and lentils (including gungo peas and Nigerian brown beans), various grains, Ghanaian palm oil, instant fufu mix, mixes for various Indian foods (biryani, gulab jamun), and jaggery.

According to a photo on Flickr, as of 1989 the premises were occupied by a clothes shop called Clique (or possibly Clique Pour Homme).

As of June 2012 the frontage of Ashra stated that they were "specialists in Ghanian, Afro, Asian, Caribbean foods" (it also advertised "fresh halal meats", but as of November 2012 they didn't seem to sell any fresh meat).

Existence last checked in December 2013.
