Note: As of November 2014 there are [https://twitter.com/OpportunityLand/status/531410294489497600 reports] of the cafe being unexpectedly closed, even on weekends.

Cafe in Wandle Park. It opened in July 2014.

It's on the east side of the park near the Westfield Road entrance, looking onto the sandpit and part of the children's play area. It has both inside and outside seating.

The menu includes cooked breakfasts, things on toast, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, and a few hot meals. There's a separate children's menu. They also do cream teas (scones, clotted cream, jam, tea).

Order and pay at the counter, collect your own cutlery, and they'll bring your food when it's ready.

Accessibility: No steps to get in, and step-free to the toilet (which is a single accessible cubicle and has a pull-down baby change table inside). The front door of the cafe is kept closed in colder weather, and it's quite stiff and heavy to open.
