It was previously a clothes shop called Yaz <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/42204616970/ photo]</small>, but this closed down some time between August 2018 and March 2019. <div class="history"> It was vacant as of July 2012, with signage indicating it was previously a branch of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawkin%27s_Bazaar Hawkin's Bazaar] <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/dxhawk/8378264616/ photo]</small>. A shoe shop called Shoe Couture <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/9075800697/ photo]</small> opened some time between July 2012 and May 2013, but closed again some time between July 2014 and June 2015 <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/19078725649/ photo]</small>. The premises were still vacant as of early January 2016. By late February 2016 a clothes shop called The Market Boutique had opened up, but this had closed again by May 2016 <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/27096469576/ photo]</small>. As of November 2016 it was being used as a pop up shop under the name #popupcroydon, with various small businesses selling items such as DVDs, clothes, jewellery, and homewares, but this [https://twitter.com/PopCroydon/status/811530241462124544 came to an end] on 21 December 2016.
