Croydon In The 2010s

Business premises just off Surrey Street.

In April 2012 it was opened as a cafe and co-working space known as Matthews Yard, and evolved over the years into an art, culture, live music, and theatre space. This was still in place in December 2019.

Food and drink arrangements also changed over the years; at some points these were dealt with in-house, while at others they were provided by independent businesses hosted within the space, including Hoodoo's, Brgr & Beer (which had its last day there on 2 February 2019), and The Vegan Grill.
