As of July 2012, it's vacant and covered with scaffolding. Before that, it was a discount/factory seconds clothes shop called Brand Centre photo.
At some point in its past, it used to be a branch of HMV photo. Croydon still has an HMV, but it's now further down North End in the Centrale shopping centre.
