Business premises on North End.
As of July 2012, it was vacant and covered with scaffolding photo. Before that, it was a discount/factory seconds clothes shop called Brand Centre photo. As of October 2012, there's refurb work going on inside and it seems to be about to reopen, possibly as something called Megamart (see advertising display in window).
According to a photo on Flickr, as of December 1990 the premises were occupied by a "discount walk around store" called Gifts Galore.
At other some point in its past, it was a branch of HMV photo. Croydon still has an HMV, but it's now further down North End in the Centrale shopping centre.
